Hey sisters today, you get to be a fly on the wall of this live coaching session with my friend, Allison Jordan, from the better belly podcast. And Alison already had a super successful gut health business and basically wanted to then optimize that business to grow and scale it using podcasting. Then we discussed how she could potentially monetize beyond doing time for money, right? Exchanging time for money. And because she shows up for a, in a really big way in her existing business, doing it in a way that maybe serves her more passively and more online versus in person. So you get to listen in on all of those juicy strategies today. I know you're absolutely going to love this live session. Now, if you have been on the fence about coaching, lemme just tell you something, Suzy, the coaching prices are going up January 1st, as they do every year, there is only a certain capacity of clients that I can take.

And I'm at the limit, which is such an incredible blessing. I am so, so, so, so, so, so grateful for each and every one of you has, who has coached with me, who is currently coaching with me, all of you, existing clients, some of which I've had for over a year. And you guys are just incredible. However, when you begin to grow and scale your business, there will become it. There will come a time. Sisters. That coaching has to be the very final option of working with you because what time is money and you have to grow your options and grow your pricing in line with demand. So I have reached that limit pricing is going up quite a bit January 1st, because I really just can't have any more clients on the books or it takes and cuts into my boundaries with my family, which you guys just heard me talk about on Wednesday.

So any who I'm just giving you a heads up. If you haven't booked coaching with me yet, this is the time do it. Now you can do it as a Christmas gift. You can ask for it for a new year's present from your family. You can just do it by investing in yourself, to leap into 2021, with a clear strategic vision, with clarity, maybe mapping out the course together, whatever you need, I'm here to serve you. You can book a session at  current pricing until 12/31 of this year by emailing us at support@stefaniegaas.com. Act. now act fast. Once all of my availability is gone. This offer is off the table until 2021. And you will come in at the new pricing. So love you guys. I'm grateful. I'm excited to continue serving you doing coaching for as long as I possibly can, as long as that capacity is there. So again, if it's been on your heart, let's do the thing. All right, let's listen in to this live coaching session with talus.

Welcome back to The Mompreneur Mastermind Show, where we choose to run insanely successful, passive income businesses that light us up while consuming iced coffee, braless and flawless, and maybe breaking it down to some gangster rap while our kids aren't looking. Did we just become best friends? Yes. Yes we did. Hey, I'm Stefanie Gass. Six figure corporate exec turned top 1% network marketer turn podcaster. I believe when we let God light our path, we experience true miracles. Welcome sister. Let's get pumped up for today's show. So I'm excited to get to know you and

Help you get some clarity. So tanks a little bit about what is your goal for today? Alison, what do we have to accomplish? And I did, I glance over all your notes, but I just want to hear in your own words, I have an established business called better belly therapies and we practice functional medicine, craniosacral therapy, and visceral manipulation. We work with both virtual and in-person clients to help them heal their gut because a lot of clients who come to us, they have done the diet. They've had a colonoscopy and endoscopy and all these, like they've gone to a gastroenterologist and they been kind of told by their doctors, like they don't know what's wrong or your labs look fine, or we don't know what else to do. And they still have a whole cluster of symptoms. So when they work with us, we get them results.

We do lab tests with functional medicine. Since we're looking at the root of the problem and not just giving them a band-aid, here's a laxative. So you can poop. You know, it's actually very, very important in my business. And I really wanted to create a podcast. I've been thinking about it for a while and really felt push I'd say ultimately when I was journaling and I was talking with the Lord and he's like, you need to start a podcast. He told me enough times that he's like, you are disobeying. If you don't do this. And there's good business reason to it as well. And really my hope and my goal for the podcast is that people can get that foot in the door, introductory step of what else can I do other than diet? Because when I tell people I'm a gut health specialist, which I don't know if it's the best term, but it's what I've been using right now, right?

They're like, so you're a nutritionist or so you work with diet. I'm like food sensitivities from all the work from where I come at. It, they're a result of gut health problems. Not a cause they can keep all this problems going, but when you're having increasing food sensitivities, it's because your gut is breaking down. So it's a result. People just don't have all that education podcast is a great free introductory way. And I also want to really highlight other practitioners because the other thing that happens is people who meet me, especially my local in-person clients. Think I'm the only person who does what I do. So I'm constantly on my Instagram and everything always sharing. Here's how you find these other practitioners. And I really want to highlight some of my friends and even instructors who are doing quality work in different groups of health. And so that is the podcast. And I want to be able to have a tagline, a way to introduce the podcast. I heard you do a phenomenal talk with someone. I honestly don't remember her name. I was on a run. I just pressed play on whatever was going on. And you kind of talked her through verbiage to use. She's like, we're not going to use coach. She, it was something about like a flexibility coach or flexible organization coach.

Okay. Okay. Like functional productivity or something like that.

Productivity. Yeah. Anyways. And I was listening to it and I was thinking, I really want words that stick out to my client that I can say quickly. So it doesn't take as long to say what I just said to you. Right?
Exactly. And to make it layman's terms, because this sounds so Epic to me, but when I'm reading your notes, right, Allison, if I don't know what functional medicine and craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation are, I'm like, Whoa. So while in, in your community, you guys all know what those things are and that's amazing. But to bring it in as a funnel, we've got to trigger these people by their symptoms and how they're feeling, and then explain it maybe in a different way. And then you get them in there with all these cool things that we introduce as like the solution. So I'm still, I love it. Okay. So tagline, the verbiage to clearly market the new show. What else do we need to accomplish?

I put on a you're disgusting, possible ways to monetize the podcast. That is, I know there's a lot of ways. I mean, podcast, you talk about, especially with it being a funnel, some people will do sponsorships. I'm not really interested in that. I know affiliates is something that naturally happens. I do have an ebook and a physical book that people can buy, but I am interested if there's anything you have when you're, as you're listening to it, that I haven't either thought of, but if you're like anything, and then the, the last thing actually number three, has to do with number two, determining strategy for podcast, episode content. Because as much as I want to bring in other guests experts, partly just to get people's brains going of what they can do. And I do plan on having solo episodes, plenty of those. So that I can really talk about the things that I love talking about and give people practical things. I'm trying to figure out like, how can I do all of this so that it both benefits my business and can bring me in clients who are trying to find someone like me as well as is there any other way I can make money on a practical level? Perfect.

Let's start with this. So we've got right in here. Some of the things that are happening, right. We have that restrictions in the brain. Okay. Then you've got trauma, stress or illness. And these are your techniques that you're explaining. Then what do we get? Energy decreased brain fog, better skin. If your body aches and pains. Good. I think what we're really missing is does this person know that they need better health? Are they already there? That's my first question. Okay. Does your avatar already know they're here? Like I know that I need better gut health something's happening. And I'm looking into gut health. Like, do they know that they need you? That's my first question, because maybe they don't even know. And the second thing that we need to do is we need to tell them what solutions better belly therapies provides. Right. Okay. So let's start with those things and just start brain dumping. And I think it would help us maybe to, if we first look at the avatar.

Sure. My avatar does know that they have got problems. They've been with it. They've done the whole shebang. Occasionally I attract someone who's like, Oh, I've always had skin problems. I didn't know my guts related to it, but they're not buying from me. They're just like, Oh, that's interesting. And so, yeah, my avatar is extremely motivated by their gut and symptoms that are highly correlated to their guts. And they're usually pretty educated as well in how the guts impacting their mental health and everything. Okay.

What are they facing? What are the symptoms and pain points that they are dealing with when they find you?

They just don't know where else to go. They're usually on a really restricted diet because that's, what's been given to them. They can't poop is a very common problem. Constipation, more than diarrhea though. Plenty of people will get like a mixture of both they're lethargic. So they feel chronic fatigue. And they're tired of feeling just weak and bloated and round and being in pain and not being able to participate in social events and just being restricted everywhere.

Okay, good. So they have like this concept, this idea that something's going on in the gut area, they're doing all this research and they maybe come across your podcast, right? Like, let's say that they're Googling in here. So this is where this gets really important, that health, right. And they're looking up these key phrases. We want to make sure that your podcast tagline has these keywords in it. And the same goes for your website. Alison's check this out. And why I'm saying this to you is because we want to identify these words because your name is going to be better Belize podcasts, right? Yeah. What's important for us is to have keywords right. In the title. So see, my mind is the monster mastermind show dash clarity, coaching podcasting, passive income for Christian entrepreneurs. So yours is going to be something like better Belize. Am I saying that right? The better podcasts. Right. And then

Everybody will be taken out. If, if that matters to you,

Better belly podcast, dash guts, health. Cause if they even just searched for guts, we have to have gut right there in our title. So, okay. But that's going to make it really searchable for you. Let's go back there again. And so I just want to show you what I mean by these keywords where they're going to go and why they matter so much. Okay. So gut, what other words are they using? Because we want to show up. You want to be, you know, my goal for you would be to be in this top 10 right here. Boom, sure. Better Belize.

The tags that I use the most often, for example, an Instagram brain gut access or like brain gut connection is really big in that community. Cause they're trying to figure out stuff. They also will use a lot of IBS is just a very common diagnosis or suspicion people have. So they'll IVs in general, just snacks, a huge group of people. Sure. But you know, bloating relief is a big on that thing that people will, I don't know if they'll search that as a podcast, but usually gut health is like the biggest thing that I've seen for podcasts.

What about microbiome? I just sorted by their most popular episodes and their very best episode says the word microbiome. Maybe the next one says gut health, which we've already said, we want to use that one. Let's look at butts and guts and see what their other keywords are. Digestive health. That might be a good one. What does this one say, microbiome again? We've just identified this word. This is like their number one downloaded FODMAP. So you definitely need one of your top five episodes should be talking about this FODMAP thing. Okay. Cause we're seeing that that is IBS case. We have IBS. So I think we've almost got all of our keywords, maybe digestive health and microbiome. Are those important to what you teach? Yes. You talk about both. Okay. So now we have look at this. We have all our keywords that go with your title that now you're extra searchable.

Like if we didn't even have a tagline, your podcast will still get found. So that's good. So these are going to be your keywords after the title. Okay. And now the next thing is let's do come up with a tagline that we can put on the channel art and on your website. And right now we have better belly, better body. I really feel like I want to see something like gut transformation strategies for something like gut health transformation strategies. And you tell me, where'd you like, where'd you don't like, okay, transform your gut for a better brain, body and life gut transformation for happier, healthy brains bodies and energy life something. Tell me what you're liking, what you're not liking. And we'll keep brainstorming that healings in my mind, overuse healing also feels mystical. Sometimes

People love that word, but I would just say sometimes it's like, well, I'm not like waving a magic wand. So transformation definitely. I think people associate it both as this high ideal like ah, transformation, but also I think they associate also with them being a part of it. So whether that's I'm, I'm transferring my body through via exercise or via participating in these gut transformation strategies, strategy sounds nice because it's practical. It's vague enough to say like we have a lot of things we do. We know we look at pathogens, we do lab work, all this stuff, but then it's also palpable enough that we can say it's strategy. It's unique to you. Right. I really like including the better brain, better belly, better body. Maybe it's just cause it's a brainchild of mine.

Yeah. The brand. So

Right. It's very, the older bees, the fact is they're all connected truly. And so I think it highlights to anyone who doesn't know, I'm hoping they makes them more aware of, and to those who do know it quickly says, I know that you know, that these things will help. I don't know if any, one of those orders, anything shorter. One thing you said was transform your gut for better brain, body, and life.

I love the shorties. I really liked the bees. I'm having trouble with the third thing. Cause I'm like, yeah, because I'm like, it needs to be like for a better brain body and something.

The only other thing that I have, you know, we have the belly, body and brain and the only other thing that I would harp on a lot. Yeah. There, the third is belly. You know, when you say gut and then belly, I don't know if that's, is that like saying something too much?

You know what though what we did right here? There's no more question. Okay. This is gut transformation strategy for what? For a better belly brain and body. And then how that's, where we're going to get even more clear in the description. And we're going to say all of the cool things that you set up here to me, right? Like I'll give you a description a little bit and you can help me with all the cool words. But tagline is like, it's right on the art so that there is no question. What is this? Right. Cause in two seconds or less, Alison they're going here. They're like, Oh, let me look at all these cool gut podcasts. Like we have two seconds. Sure. I want them to see yours and to see the name of the show really big and vibrant. But then I want them to see right, obvious, big across the bottom, our tagline, you know, gut transformation strategies for a better belly brain and body like, okay, this is what this is and what the outcome is all in one sentence.

Okay. Which I really like. Is there anything you don't like about this sentence? No. I mean either. I really love it. Great. I really love it. It's good. Okay. So we've got a brand new tagline that you can just pop up here. Right? Okay. I also think one other thing that would be helpful on your website is once we do your description for your podcast, plug that description above these pictures. That way it's more triggering for somebody like, you know, welcome to better belly therapies where we truly believe that life transformation, brain transformation, brain health, more energy experience, increased energy, better skin, fewer aches and pains all begins with gut health. Unbelievable. Right. Question Mark. Let me begin to explain, have you been dealing with, and we've got all these things, we list all of these triggers that they're facing. Have you been dealing with trouble pooping?

We can comment and be like, yes. Poop matters. Like you can make fun of it. Right? Like skin issues, fogginess memory loss, difficulty focusing, like you're mentioning all these things that are triggering them. Like yeah. Yeah. And then it's like, have you ever considered that? Maybe it's your gut and then they're going, Oh maybe, and then we're going even deeper. And there is not a simple, band-aid sorry to tell you that, you know, debunk all the lies, but we can't just have a one diet fits all here. There's a complete strategy to transform your gut health, which leads to a better brain, better belly, better body. But don't worry. You're in the right place. Let's dig in. So it's got like right here at the top of this website, all of those, that like a little paragraph, that's doing all of that to draw them in. Okay. From a marketing perspective. Cause I come here and I just don't know, is this for me?

Right. I've been critiqued on that recently. And it's just not been a priority. I mean, it just seemed like this big project, even though it's a small amount of space, it can still be a big project.

They can't, but I just gave you an outline. And so you can transcribe Temi T E M i.com. They do it like twenty-five cents a minute. If you were like, what did Stephanie say? And I don't want to relisten, but as an outline and then you can make it yours. Cause you know that better than me. But if I was from a marketing perspective to come here, that's what I would need to see to go. Tell me more. Sure.

I do have a question. I like everything you said. And but one thing that I felt like the train went for, the clients that I know I'm dealing with is like, okay, so you say, have you been dealing with all this stuff? And then like my ideal client's like, yeah. And then the next thing is when you say, have you considered, it's your gut? That actually is talking down to my ideal client because they already know. They're like, yes. And so I'm wondering if there's a better, I'm sitting here being like, what question could I ask? Because what probably a better thing might be like, are you tired of diets that don't work or diets that don't yield the results you want or whatever.

Yeah. Then maybe it's like, you know, it's all tied to the gut, but then why aren't you getting any results? Why isn't the diet working? What's up

Stress management, probiotics. Yes. I know that really gets people which probiotic can fix my body.

And you can make your like, right. Like you can make jokes. You'd be like, you know, all about gut health. So you think, right. You're checking out your poop on the daily, you are popping the probiotics you're on the diet yet. We still are not seeing gut transformation. Why? And then it goes into maybe some like your favorite podcast episodes, right? Or like better brain better. Cause they can probably learn more about all this process, the deeper they get on your website. But those are the type of triggering questions. If they know about gut health that they're frustrated by.

Okay. So I feel like that's good. That's good. Creates a second step. It's like, you know, how have you been doing with all these things? They're like, yes. And then it's like, you know, all about gut health. And then it tells them more about who they are. So it's like their second level deeper. Like you already do all these things and then

Why isn't it working? Why isn't it working? So now what that's where you come in and you could even have right above these, Hey, I'm Alison, I believe there's a process to this. And it's so much bigger than diet. Come listen to my podcast and learn all the things or work with me. Yeah.

I love that. That feels much better.

Good. Good, good. Thanks for bringing that up too. Yes. So if we're looking back at that same thing is going to become our description right here. So the description is this guy and see Susie Orman is really missing out because she doesn't have any SEO terms in her title. All of which would be searchable. And her description is super short, this entire description from the provider, all searchable. So for us to just basically paraphrase what we just came up with on that website, Hey friend, you know the whole thing, we just say all those questions. The whole thing is right here in the description, we've used so many keywords. We said, you know, popping your probiotics. You've tried the blink diet, the food map diet, nothing seems to be working. I probably said that

Wrong. That's okay. It's great.

And so we're seeing these keywords, but they're in the description. So anything, someone might search microbiome that dah, dah, dah, digestive health, your podcast comes up and this can the longer, the better here for this description. So,

Okay. I was about to have wonder. So like literally everything we just said, that's on the website can be in that too very long. Yeah. Maybe not super long.

Okay. For long you go for it. Here's many, a times when I'd be like a little too much here, I'm like, I want you guys to have it every freaking keyword. And also you can pop in how so now we go even deeper where you said here by finding the root cause of your gut health problems and empowering you to heal it permanently through functional medicine, craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation. What does that mean? Don't worry. I'm going to walk you through that entire process here on the show. I'm going to break it down. Step-By-Step so that you can begin to implement all of this amazing healing and really be freed from food restrictions, boost your energy and feel better than ever before. So you said all that here yourself. So I want that in that description too, because this is the next thing, you know, on the website, we've got draw them in and then we're like, how, okay, how Allison?

Oh, this is how right. This is part of the how. Okay. And then you're making them feel at ease by saying, don't worry. The podcast is going to walk you through everything. Or you can just work with me and I'll help you. I'll hold your hands with the process because there's two things we offer, right. We offer free, which brings trust, brings belief that we know what we're talking about. It brings results for people. So free is always the first thing people are going to do always, unless they already know of you. And they like, Oh, I heard from someone else, the Allison's amazing. They're going to do free. Sure. Okay. But through our free, which is the podcast, we funnel people into pay. They go from trust, tier one free. I need belief. Oh, I have belief I'm ready to pay. And once they go from there to pay, what are their options? Well, buy the books, work with me or probably take my course, which we'll talk about in a little bit. Okay. So we've got title tagline and description. We know our avatar really well. Let's talk about number three first, which is the strategy for your podcast content. Sure. Okay. Do you feel any of the questions on you feel good about the description? All of that. There's this one lingering thought

That I don't know if it fits into anything. We just, I don't know how it fits in, but though it's how to open up my podcast. Cause I know there's like, Hey, welcome to the better belly podcast. And then like trying to say a bunch of stuff. I feel like that might be out of the scope of what we can accomplish today. But I am my brain's ticking on that. And I'm wondering how much of what we just said what I just recycled.

Okay. Yes. So I'll give you one and you're going to recycle it. But what we do, all the things we just said, it's the much too big, right? Cause it's like a whole intro to a web description. It's so juicy. We don't want to lose people in the intro. So the intro, what that is, is okay. I love this girl's podcast art. I love that description. That's triggering me big time. I'm dealing with all of this. I'm so interested in what she's telling me, because everything she just said, I tried it and it's still not working. So they're like, tell me more, tell me more. So they turn on your episode and now they're waiting to be hooked, right? People are always waiting to be hooked. So in your episode, I think it would be really great to say something like, Hey friends, welcome to better belly podcast where we find true freedom from food restrictions. We tap into more energy in our lives. And we really began to feel healthy and vibrant again by finding the root cause of our gut health problems. And we don't just do this through diet and food and pop on a probiotic. We're checking out our poop

By going. I feel like you have to joke about that. It's like so good.

But the funny thing is, is you don't know the one thing I love about you and your skill set, Stephanie is you don't even know like you just you're able to absorb and embody it without having been in it. It's so weird to hear someone else say it. I mean, you'd be like, yes. So when he needs to be talking about this, I'm like, Oh wait, I am that's me. Yes. That's why I'm laughing. You should keep going. Yeah.

So we're going to go beyond popping a probiotic and checking our poop. We are going to go deep into gut transformation strategy. If you're ready to feel your freaking best, stay with me,

You can't get that all later. I liked pretty much all of it. There might be a few things I changed as far as how I actually talk, but I love how everything you talk. It's very fun. So awesome. I liked a lot of that. And of course he used a lot of my language. So,

And also I liked the reason to, to bring that lightheartedness into the intro is because a lot of what you're going to be teaching will be like, I'm teaching. This is an educational podcast. So anytime I'm teaching educational staff, how can I infuse my step isms? How can I like make people smile or laugh or bring light to something that's an educational topic. So having that in an intro, that's going to really break the ice for people that are new knowing she's going to be fun. Like this is going to be fun and funny and light and just infusing that into something. That's probably a dry topic sometimes. Okay. Yeah. So anything else you can think of? That's funny there.

Okay, great. Thank you.

Okay. Next is your podcast content. So I really feel like when I find a new show, is there a way we can take them on a journey, right? Alison, like somebody just discovers your podcast and you're on episode 100 and you're all kinds of advanced at this point, right? Like you guys are talking about craniosacral therapy and this advanced concept. Right. But what if you were like friends, if you're new here, please head back to episode one where we just discuss the basics of understanding gut transformation strategy. What does it even mean? What works, what doesn't work? What does mainstream media telling you to do that? I don't believe in which diet am I debunking? Like, can we take them through the easy elementary stuff in the first 10 episodes? That way you can always direct new people backwards. And that way you're not having to jump back and forth.

It's almost like they're on an evolution of education with you every time you do a new show. Does that make sense? Yeah. Okay. So what do I want to see on those first episodes? I want to see like, is it really my gut? Maybe something it literally is obvious. Is that what does gut transformation strategy mean? Why is my whatever diet not working? Like you were saying, you have all these great ideas for and say that diet name. Cause we know that's highly searchable. Yeah. And of course the very first episode, yes. We want to meet Alison, who are you? Why are you doing this all your background? If you have a personal story with this, share it here so that they trust you. Yeah. Or a client's story or something like why you're so passionate about this. So that we're one. And then we get into like, what is gut health?

Like I think you really do have to have those foundational episodes because people will also find you that don't know. Yes. So we've got our meat. Alison we've got, what is gut health? I mean, what else? Why your anti-inflammatory diet? Isn't working all that stuff. Yeah. All that is like, I'm thinking solo for now. But then what I like to do is when I find someone I know will add value to my market, I invite them on and I used to have a structure for that. Alison like, Oh one every five. But now it's just like, when I feel like it, when they're really going to add value. So I don't have a structure to what guests come and when, and I really love that because there's no rules in podcasting and you should be able to just be inspired to talk about what you want to talk about. And having guests is a lot more work, double the work. So while guests are great, I would definitely start with fewer guests than solo, like one to every four or so.

Why do you find that they're more work? I mean, I know we have to get links. We have to do like, we want to support them and stuff. I mean, right now with my guests, I have really similar questions. I want to be asking them because one of my goals with guests is to say things like, what do you do? Who do you do for what's one thing you want everyone to know about, they got what's some of your favorite research, because so that I can ask all these people, who's the nutritionist and the natural path and all these different and like a PhD, all these different modalities and mindsets on gut health, you know? So it feels pretty straightforward to me. I don't know if you have, I'm just curious.

People love interviews. Some people are like, I love it. I don't want to, because you've got scheduling, you've got people that you're going to think they're going to be brilliant on a podcast and it ain't so brilliant. You got more editing. So here's my issue with guests is that I have to do a ton of editing and I outsource and pay for that. Me, if I do a solo, I don't even need to edit. Like I can. So it also depends on like, so there's a little bit more editing. There's more scheduling. There's also a question of personality. So be sure you've listened to them. Do something audibly before you're like, Hey, come on my show. Cause then you're like, Oh crap, I got an air. This and this is real bad. Make sure very exciting and exciting. Cause I know it's like, yeah, they know a lot, but they're not exciting to listen to your audience. Isn't going to like it. So making sure you do the filtering first and then just don't over-commit to guests. So you do some and you may be like, I fricking love guests episode. Yes. Do them. But test it first before you're like, I'm going to have a 50 50 split because you may not love it.

It's a 50, 50 split. Oh you need 50 50. So load up. Okay.

Okay. It's a big commitment. So don't start there. Okay. Good to know. Yeah.

I'm so glad I asked that question. You, I thought you'd

The other thing you might think about Alison is because you're trying to drive people to hire you. Right. Is there any way to do like live coaching live site?

So that's one thing that I've I feel like I either need to verbally process and or talk to a lawyer about no. Okay. So here's the thing. So in medicine you have HIPAA, right? And so HIPAA is this traditionally thing, like big thing where you don't want to air, if you don't want to connect someone's name and identity with their health stuff. So you can say, I have a client who has this condition and they had all these symptoms and this is what we did to help them. And it's not a big deal because there's no name, identity. You don't know, you might not know the things like where they live, what they do, blah, blah, blah. You might be able to say it's a woman or something. Right. And then the opposite is you can say my friend, Stephanie's here on the show. She's a client of mine.

And you can say some stuff like she went through this stuff, but she has a lot more control over what she shares. You're not going to just like go through her notes, you know, as if you're treating her. So when you have someone come on to be talked to, I might want to say the problem is, is I might be like, ask them a question. They've never wanted to tell the world. So I'm going to say, Oh my gosh, like, have you, what's your sex life? Like, you know, like, because that's sex life. But like, is it, do you have painful sexual intercourse? That's a real question. That's really important. That tells me a ton about their pelvic floor. And they might not want anyone to know that.

Usually I delete this from, so what about an ask? Allison, instead of coaching where people can submit a question like anonymously or there's even something really cool, I'll show you on speak pipe. So on my website, you can get a free speak pipe plugin, put it right on your homepage. It's free. And people can record a question for you, show you what that looks like right here. Want to be featured on an ask, Alison show, leave me a voicemail. They click record. And then they can leave you a voice question that you can pull into your episode so that,

Oh, that's so interesting. Cause you can. Oh, that's so cause at that point it's more than just reading which people do do. You can just say, Hey question from, okay. That's so good.

So you're like, Hey Alison, this is staff. I had a really quick question. It totally hurts when I have inner cars does not mean anything for my gut health. Sure. Oh my gosh. I'm so glad you asked this question and then you can riff off on that for six hours and then you can bring in the next question. And so those are really fun because they hear you in action. And then at the end you go, by the way, do you need some one-on-one? Do you need a complete gut strategy plan? Don't worry. We offer this virtually or in person like, so you can pitch your services during those ask Alison episodes. Okay. So what other questions do you have on the podcast episode? Content? We talked about the coaching. So we think this is a better strategy, right? Yes.

Okay. So the example I gave before is you say, Hey, I have my friends, Chelsea on the call, you know, she's a client of mine. We worked together for three months. She came in with blah, blah, blah she's you know, and she would have pre-agreed to be on the show. And so I have some clients who are like, I want everyone to know that you exist and I'll do anything. And they they're just so over abundantly, like right. Would love to just talk and want to tell everyone about how much better they feel. So everybody else can feel better. So I was trying to think of, if I've heard that done a 10, if you think that you're like, Oh, that would add a lot of value.

Oh my gosh. Yes. And if they're willing to record it in their own voice for you even better, if not, you can just read them on the air, right? Like, Hey friends today, we're talking about why your anti-inflammatory diet, isn't working. I'm going to debunk the diet myth today. But before we get into that, I wanted to share what Mary had to say about working with me. And then Mary reads her thing or you can read it. Okay.

So you probably wouldn't have a whole episode talking about someone's journey. Cause there's a lot to dig into. Like if someone is willing to share more and it wouldn't be as big of a problem as far as HIPAA, because when you do a coaching call and you don't know what they're going to tell you and you don't, they don't know what you might want to ask them. That's one thing. But if it's like happened in the past and they know what they want to filter out, there's a little bit more like I had kids. And after that I had lots of incontinence and all this stuff. And then they're like, and so part of it is to spark interest in the person. I'm like, I'm that mom, I have incontinence I've been told I won't get better. Like all these different things. And then, Oh my gosh, they, they share about in one session or two sessions or in working with you for they just cheer, however long it took and what they did and you know, the results they saw and how it changed their life and things that they learned along the way that surprised them.

And so when you have a cold, I was thinking if you add a whole podcast episode that would give more breadth of time for them to really open up some of the stuff. Cause health is digs into every part of your life.
I think that's wonderful. I actually did one of those. Like I brought students on from my course. And we just talked about how was the course for you? What did you learn? What did you love? How did it help your business? And like, it was a whole 30 minutes that, and it was fantastic and I should do it more. And that's what you're saying is doing that the Mueller process, plus it's a learning experience for other people that are thinking of hiring you. Well, what does she actually, what are the results that are happening? I think I love that. Oh yeah. If I was to say like, what would this ideal structure be? I think you would do maybe like two solos or a solo, which is educational. Then an ask, Alison, because those are still two solos, then do a testimony episode and then you have an expert, right?

And then you got solo, ask Alison testimony, expert. And those testimony ones, maybe not every time and if not do another solo, but like as a light structure. Cause it also keeps it really interesting. Cause they're like, Ooh, this is fun. I've got educational. Then we've got asked Alison, which those are probably really fun because people ask them all kinds of juicy things. Then we've got testimony which boosts your business. It sells your services. And they've got experts which brings in a little bit of just variety. Having somebody else come and share. It always is added value. So,

Okay. I don't know if you have any thoughts on this and then we could go to Mon any thoughts you have on the monetization or if you have any other ideas for me is titling. So I feel like I'm still learning titling. It's kind of like an art. It can be fun. It can be frustrating. Usually I think in my mind, for example, an ask Alison or testimonial and expert, you kind of pluck out the big idea that comes out of you record and you might have an idea of what you want the title to be. But afterwards you say something that's catchy, but I don't know if you do you have guidelines personally,

I try to pull out the most controversial. I have a whole episode on this actually. It's nice. Yes. It's the one on title. We'll find the number. Okay. There's an idea here about it is you got to pull out the most controversial or the most triggering concept of your conversation. So if you and I are discussing the poop or something, know what digestion says about you? We need to be like latent. We need to trigger people to listen, right. And say something like the many facets of your poop. Right. And we get, you know, you can make it funny too. Like why, what you're afraid to talk about drastically impacts your health, something like that. Right. Where it's like, instead of tiptoeing around what the actual triggering concept of the episode is blatantly slap them with it. That's always going to be better. So like, you know, if you've got a testimony episode and we can say something like, and you're talking to Mary and Mary's transformed her health and her energy and she's not constipated, she's cured her IBS or something. Something like is IBS ever curable, listen in and find out,

Would you even say then like a title would be like cure your IBS or listen to how so-and-so I don't want to sound more salesy or like, because yeah, you're not going to cure your IVs in three steps. But if for Mary, if Mary did it doing

Three main things or something, or yeah, I don't know. You'd like, I always leave names though to the end, because sometimes you have other people's names as a deterrent. So I used to say like live coaching with Allison. That was like my title. And then I'd say, you know, mapping out a brand. Instead I was to use this episode, I would say something like, you know, revamping a brand from the inside out because we talk about gut health. Right. And then with Alice, that's so cute. So you could say something like curing irritable bowel syndrome. Is it possible question Mark a conversation with Mary or Mary's journey at the end of the title and really asking them questions is always going to be a win. So if you have something triggering, like, can you cure irritable bowel syndrome, make it a question instead of how to cure irritable bowel syndrome, it's a different feeling.

It pulls them in. They want to say yes or no also using keywords. So we know some of our keywords that are really important are here. How can we plug those into titles? Right. So we can talk about, we know irritable bowel syndrome, but we know IBS is the search term. So we would say, is it possible to curate your edible bowel syndrome, IBS in quote, in a princes, something like that? Does the gut really have an impact on my brain question Mark? Or like how to blast brain clog in three steps? Like that's juicy, right? Things like that. Okay.

Seem like a dumb question to you, but if you were just starting, would you focus on just putting it on one platform or do you have a top three and want to be on it?

But you know, all of them, all of them, all of them. And did we already talk about podcast pro you, are you in there? I'm not.

That was what I meant when I said I'm not going to go and do a course. Not that I'm not willing to do it, but I would rather have this and then go into it.

Okay. Yeah. The only reason I ask is there's a module in there that has the list of all of them, but you can just Google it, just Google, where to publish my podcast. And there's like 10, you know, they'll have a whole list. It's like Spotify, Google play Apple tune in Alexa. Yeah. Alexa, whatever. And so they'll list them just on a Google search result. And then you're basically just going to go take your RSS feed. You're going to copy your RSS feed from your host. I use Podbean is my host for my podcast platform. Right. And in there click feed and they give you the feed. You copy that feed and you're really just going to paste it in each of those places. Spotify will say publish your podcast. Yes. Put your feed. Great. Thank you.

You don't have to rewrite or re that would have been miserable.

Nothing. And they'll pull it. They'll just pull it every time you do a new episode, you don't have to like go there again. Okay. Really easy. So as far as monetization, you have two ways that you can just monetize immediately. You have the book or books. Yeah. It's just available in two forms. So you would just be like my better belly theory. Me, Alison, and why I'm standing up for your gut health meat, Alison, and the truth about that health, something like that. So you've got that one and you're going in there and you're like, do the little intro. You got the little thing, a little jingle. And then you're like, Hey, by the way, if you guys love this podcast and you learn a lot here, I want to let you know, two things. Number one, I have a book it's going to help you get through all of this.

It's going to give you all my strategies at a deep, comprehensive level. Number two, you need help. You need accountability. You need me to walk through this with you. Let's grab a coffee chat and we'll walk through how I can support you virtually or in person on your gut health journey, go to better bellies.com/whatever this is virtual health coaching. So you're monetizing from day one with two things, book and coaching, right? Yep. Okay. Now the third thing that you could absolutely add would be a course an e-course. Now what would that be course? B I think you have to ask yourself again, this gets weird because it's each person really, truly different. Is there anything you can teach that is a canned response for everyone? Like is there, and it could be something mini, like, is there a diet plan that pairs with blink, blink, blink that works for everyone?

And maybe not maybe. So I don't know if a course would work for you, but if there's something you can pull out of your process that you're saying the same way to every client, think about how you can package that as a passive product instead of having that same conversation every time. Okay. I love courses because it's just, I kept, you know, how to launch a podcast, how to launch a podcast, how to launch a podcast. I can solve that problem. I can't solve this problem where we map it out. So that's always going to be one-on-one with people, but the tech, the implementation take. Great. So for you, maybe it's that initial consultation with people, Alison, the discovery work, blood work, but then is there a way for them to implement without you with the course? I don't know.

Yes. And that's one of the things I'm learning right now is just getting enough repetition with how I work with people to say, what am I redoing the most and just regurgitating and what could I do in my sleep? You know? Yeah. So frequently and then make that reproducible and scalable. And then of course the lab testing and the interpretations, the most unique thing that nobody could ever.

Right. And how is this going? Are you like mean, are you, do you have like a profitable business with these plans right now? Yes.

Yep. Yep. So I get about two to three new clients a month and that's about the most I can handle because it takes so much to get their paperwork and do the evaluations plus

Handle everybody else that I'm working with and do the online stuff. So it's very, I'm at a good rate right now. I might have to actually, as demand increases, I'll be working on simplifying my business so that I can work with people faster and get them through. So the course will become important very soon. I love this. Yeah. And this is so cool. I mean, working with you as a premium as it should be, but you know, what's super cool is if there's a way to package some of this up in a course, it would be an easier way for people to get some of this value at a cheaper price, and then what's going to happen. They're going to hire you anyway. Cause they're going to go through the course and go, Oh, this was so good. I have a starter plan, but now I need the customized plan and they're going to end up being filtered.

Like it's almost like a gateway into one of these awesome habeas with you. So just brainstorm on that, the course piece. I mean, obviously you have ways to monetize right away. So it's not urgent, but even maybe like just the concept of these things here, like module one, the placebo and no CBO effect. And you've got a module on it. Number two, mindset, positivity, number three, the drain that connection. So there's no, one-on-one, there's no like implementing with people, but you're teaching them the concept of this framework and of course, 500 or a thousand dollars or something just that I don't know, as a thought, you know that though. Oh, I look forward to when I'm able to do it. So I like how jazz do you seem about it? And but yeah, I I'm really enjoying working with clients right now. And then there's certain things that are starting to pop out like, Oh, I want that to be just like, even if say they get one-on-one coaching with me. I say you automatically have access to X amount in my library because I'm not even gonna say it to you. Like, I'll just say your homework is to go watch this thing and implement it. And then, and then from there as the library builds, I'd probably create a course where maybe that's the only way someone works with me. So that's on my mind for sure. Yeah. I love that idea. And then it cuts down on your time. Y'all
