Welcome to another episode of The Mompreneur Mastermind Show, where today you get to be a fly on the wall of a podcast strategy session, where I help Ashley Allen go from big vision and being super multi-passionate to figuring out that common denominator of her brand of her zone of genius, of the vision she wanted to create for her future avatar that she just couldn't get to on her own. I know how tough it is to be struggling with what's my thing, when I love so many things. So today you get to enjoy that entire session with us. Come sit down, grab an open pen. What has to happen today for you on the, during this chat? What are you struggling with the most? Okay. So I think really aware, I'm hoping to zap into your genius is really basic, but I just can't seem to figure it out on my own. So that's kind of why I've reached out for help is really zoning in on like my zone of genius, my brand and message kind of thing. Okay, cool. That shouldn't be hard. We can do that. Hopefully the plan, your the mini podcast, right? Yes, of course. Yes. Okay. Loved it. Trying to find my notes. I literally had them right here. Okay.
So I literally left it with, you know, the next four things or five things left to do from that many podcasts course. And it was literally still stuck on naming it because the branding and everything and the message and like being super clear.
I still wasn't super clear. Right. Kind of been stuck since then. Okay. So let's tell me how far where you are. Are you still in the realm of, okay. Obviously health and wellness coaching. Yes. Fitness. So health wellness and fitness is awesome. That's its own little category, but then you also mentioned the personal development side, motherhood, marriage, mental health, and yeah. And then balanced nutrition, important basic nutrition. Okay. So here's the thing. Are you going to continue with the health and wellness coaching? Is that like a thing that's happening for you that you could see for the next three years?
I would lean towards yes. But at the same time, there is a little bit of kind of like wavering unsure or into the unknown kind of thing, but I would lean more towards you. And is that how you make money today? A hundred percent.
That is how I do it right now. Yes. Like I'm pretty open minded with kind of where this new venture, you know, following this into the unknown kind of Elsa vibe is taking me, but I started, I guess that's how I make it. Now. There's been some anxiety and distance between, you know, I've kind of distanced myself. I still do, you know, that's exactly a hundred percent harming money, but yeah. So there's still like an unknown and I'm kind of the, open-minded going into podcasting and opening, you know, doing it that.
And just seeing where that flows. Is there any other pulling on your heart right now that feels clear? Like, I feel very clear that I need to move into some type of private coaching business or a motherhood coaching. Is there any other thing that you're like, it's clear?
No, no, not really. I mean, I'm a volleyball coach outside of like everything else, but that's not something that private lessons or something like that. Isn't really where right now where I want to go. And I know like future down the road, kind of a big dream that I have, if you were ever to talk about like physical product or like a physical thing that I would create, it would honestly probably be in, this is totally off the wall from what we're even talking about, but it would honestly be like a volleyball club. So like a business in that area. So I know that a little farther down the line and I have things I want to do before I ended up in that spot that have to do with coaching and this health and wellness and what I do now. I just, I honestly don't have like a specific thing. I just kind of right now am thinking that's going to be a spin off of what I do now. It's not exactly going to be staying where I am.
Okay. So if that's the case, Ashley, then I think it does still make sense for you to stay more niched into. Yes, it can be for moms, but health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, obviously you love fitness. If you were to go do volleyball coaching, you were to start a volleyball club. You were to do any of those things. It still could then be in line under this podcast, which means I would cut out marriage, mental health. You could sprinkle that, but I probably wouldn't go heavy into like motherhood marriage. Then it becomes a lifestyle podcast, which it could totally evolve into that. But let's start by talking to a specific problem that a specific woman has. And then from there you can then allow that to blossom naturally, if that makes sense. And instead of mother had podcasts, there's a bajillion. You don't just want to be another mom lifestyle podcast, or you're going to drown. Okay. If you want to be solve a specific problem. So how does that feel first? Did that give you a weird feeling?
Yeah, that gave me a lot of clarity because when I'm going through my training, my leadership training, they're like, you should want to talk to moms because you're a mom and I'm like, honestly, I love moms. Don't get me wrong, but that's honestly not who, like, I don't feel the need or I don't feel the calling to specifically speak to moms. So that really just gave me a lot of like, maybe just like a weight lifted off my shoulders because yes, I'm a passionate about those things. And I'm very knowledgeable about those things, but maybe not right now is not the time to dive into that.
Okay. So let's then take health, wellness, fitness. You can even sprinkle in community fitness. Like you can talk about different ways of being fit. You talk about having, maybe in team sports as an adult, like why volleyball, so a passion for you and why that might fit for different personality types. And then you can talk about nutrition. You do get to talk about holistic versus Western medicine. All of that is okay. Under a health and wellness fitness podcast, right? Yes. Okay. So if we go that direction, we got to get more clear though. Who are we talking to in that arena? And so when I say that though, Ashley, just for you to know, I would never specifically say your network marketing business. I would never say the name of it. I would never point people directly to a website. I would just let them know you have a product line that you recommend cause that when you're open, because it would be really smart for you later to have your own passive product line, maybe your own little macro workbook, maybe your own little fitness guide for whoever, if it's moms or women or whatever.
And then you can start transitioning into monetizing a hundred percent under your own brand in the future. The site that I have set, and I don't even know I've been doing this almost two and a half years now. And I don't say I don't even, I've never posted there. Like I typically don't say their name on social media at all, or post their logo unless amendment or something, obviously that's in the background, but I'm very cautious about that already. So I would definitely keep that into the podcast as well. I'd have to be a little more careful probably since I'm talking, have that written down.
Yep. And can always edit. Right. There we go. All right. So then let's get a little bit more niche. So if we're talking about health wellness, fitness, holistic medicine, nutrition, for who, who specifically can we help the most?
I would definitely say the majority of the stuff that I'm super about is pretty basic beginner knowledge. Okay. So someone may be looking to transform their life into a healthier lifestyle when talking about the 80, 80, 20 rule with nutrition, fad diets versus like a lifestyle living kind of stuff like that. But yeah, but a beginner. What about definitely.
Do you want to speak to a certain age range or even a certain sex male versus female or definitely female age range?
I mean, I've kind of, I'm, I'm definitely a believer of it. Doesn't matter how you can make this change. No matter what age you are. Obviously my experience and knowledge is going to be, you know, my age range is in the upper twenties and I am around a lot of teenage girls being a Bible coach. So, you know, I'd probably say like anyone to anywhere between 20 and 35 funerals, anywhere between 20 to 35 40 number.
I really love that idea. Ashley, of almost even what, if you even knocked that down, just a tad. What if you were like 18 to 30 and really capturing that market of women who are most susceptible to eating disorders, most susceptible to the media, impacting how they feel talking about body dysmorphia, having experts come on and talk about fad diets and the damage that that might do. Like what if you were almost niched into that? Because I hear so many people talking to moms about nutrition already, like busy mom moms in their mid thirties, like we're over, well, some of us I'm over being super critical of my body to the extent of harming my body, but in my twenties, absolutely not. I was so open to hating my body and taking all of this media in and thinking that she's more beautiful at this size, like the twenties or so key or creating that healthy foundation for food
For the future. Yes. You'd be doing a lot of good if you were willing to speak to that.
No. Yeah. That's so true. And I honestly do feel a little bit more connected to the younger, like I said, as just as a coach and like wanting to shape that kind of generation, those early years, like 18 to 25 were like super, very critical for me. And that's really where like my life changed. So I think that's kind of why I feel the calling to be that way or be talk to them. Yeah.
Ah, okay. So then let's keep going with that concept. So now we're clear on demographic, we're clear on what it would kind of be about, right? This health and wellness, holistic, all of those you could have. There's so many amazing experts that could speak on this. We know what's for a female between 18 and 30 ish. Maybe she has kids. Maybe she doesn't, that's not a thing for what you're teaching, which is great.
Yes. That makes me feel so much better. I'm so glad. That's crazy.
Yeah. Just cause we are, moms does not mean we have to have a mom related podcast. Oh my gosh. Brain explosion. So let's think about the name.
Okay. Yeah. I'm literally, this is the worst. I know you probably hate hearing people say they're not creative, but I feel very not creative.
That's okay. And that is not everybody right? That's not everybody's strong suit. Hey, give me a second. Let me think. Okay. Fuel her body and mind fueled by self-love. I don't think it's self love though. She's fueled by health. I like to. I'm writing it down. Yeah. My team name that I go with as far as network marketing goes is team shine. Your light. So fuel is pretty similar.
You're like, I really want it to have clarity that it's.
Yeah, no, I was just saying that I liked that it's similar.
Oh, okay, good. I want something in the name about body because she's in her twenties. Hello. Like that's what we cared about. That's what I cared about. So I really want something with the word body, maybe something with the word, like love and then health, like healthy body. Love your body. Love yourself. I'm writing everything down. I promise. I'm just like also going through a lot of words in my head.
Yeah. And then this is just our brainstorming. Like when you hear the right phrase, you'll be able to be like, okay, that phrase feels really good. Love your body. Love yourself team. Ooh. It could also be a play off of like this whole women empowerment movement of like sisters and health sisterhood, body, body love is trademark of I keep coming back and body love. That's taken healthy body system.
I'm trying. So this is why I keep I'm so quiet. My mom. So my mom always calls me the health freak. Ish. Mom. I'm like trying to find like body and love or cell body love freakish ish. Like some of not mom, but. Yeah. Okay.
Ish or freakish or some kind of, you know, some kind of something to do with it.
What about freakish? About health? I like it writing it down. Freakish about health. Ooh. The other word we could use as strong, Like strong a play on sassy would be a good one personality wise. And what you're going to find in there.
What about something like strong, sassy and healthy and in there, like the tagline? Cause that's so vague. Like, okay. This for it would be the tagline is then when you make it clear where it's something like let's see food, health, wellness, and mindset for chicks in their twenties or something like that where it's like super clear on like, what is this? And for who another, if we could also say that for the millennial. Let's see. So what about like, she fuel like a play off of a word. Like she fueled S H E and then fuel. Right? She fuel. And then that is like a brand name of she fuel fueling health, body mindset and wellness for the millennial woman.
Yeah. I love that. I just wrote, she fuel health body, huh?
Health, body wellness and mindset for the millennial woman. And the whole brand is like, what is fuel for women? It's health, it's food. It's the positivity you're putting inside of your mind. It's the way you speak to yourself. What you, social media influences that you allow to come in and tell you you're beautiful or not, right?
Yeah. I will not just your diet, your diet. Isn't just what you're eating. But what you're consuming via social media and news, what shows you're watching? What episode? You know, what radio you're listening to. All that kind of stuff.
Yeah. That's kind of fun. So true. That's kind of a fun one. She fuel. Cause that is like to me, how is she fueled as a millennial woman? Right? How can she literally be her healthiest, strongest, most powerful self. And that also really leaves you open to grow a brand that you could trademark.
Yeah. I've just Googled it. And it looks like there's a pro like a natural product on the market, but like not a podcast. Oh. So I'd have to look at that as far as like,
What about, is it weird to say girl fuel?
What if it was like GRL and not like the whole word. If somebody has it, then it can be a thing. Oh. Cause it'd be split. Will is something fuel girls? Are you looking at something? Yeah. I see fuel girls is a thing in the UK. Do you see she fueled? I do see Fuel. However, it's a natural supplement and elixir of women life.
So it's a natural supplement. Yeah. The rules on that are, if you have a name, that's the same as somebody else's, they're going to have first use rights. If it's anywhere in the same vicinity as what you're doing, that is in the vicinity of what you're doing. So you would have issues with that later, but that doesn't mean we can't keep going on that idea. What about like, about her fuel? Nothing on her fuel. What about no fuel? Her would obviously be taken her fuel is not anywhere
Is obviously a little bit more catchy.
I know if you have fuel her all one word. Let me see. There's not a podcast with that. Obviously the domain would be taken, but I bet is it. Let's see just a second fuel. Her Is not taken. Oh shoot. Now it's $1,800 to buy the domain so you wouldn't have to buy the domain, but nobody's using it is my point. As long as that trademark isn't taken, let me check. Then you better jump on that one. Cause that's amazing. Oh my God. Where's my,
I feel like people are going to, or when I Google it, people are like fuel her fire fuel her future. Feel her there isn't literally like fuel her. You're like you, you went a little more crazy. I'm just saying fuel her by itself.
Yeah. And if it's one word fuel her, it's an actual brand name you are creating. There's nothing under fuel her all one word in the trademark database, which I don't flipping believe that's insanity. The trademark one. Yeah. Yeah. So I would make it even more unique by having like fuel all caps and then her is small, but it's one word. Yeah. And then I would even make it like her like cursive. Yes. Fuel her and the, Oh, I love that so much. That is, that's it. Oh yeah. Definitely. My gosh. Oh my gosh. Yeah. So what I would do then Ashley, just for you to know, as soon as you can, I would consider maybe trademarking that and or getting that domain because fuel her is so good. That is something that you could trademark to become your entire brand in the future where fuel her could be a podcast. It could be a line of products. It could be fuel her courses. I mean, it's limitless.
How do I do that again? That's that info. And like you gave me the instructions on that and they'll put in the university, right?
Basically you want to start using that word in every single thing that you do so that you establish first rights to that name and spell it the same everywhere. And then the only thing that you won't have that you might want to consider investing in within the next six months would be that domain name. It is expensive because nobody has it and they know the value of it. Yeah.
I mean, that's something I can work for while I'm still in the network. That's one good thing about network marketing. You put a goal for monetary wise. You can pretty much make whatever kind of money you want to.
Exactly. Just put that in your back of your mind for this next year that you really cause that's something I just can't believe it's available. Number one. And then number two, that is so unique and beautiful. Now that I understand the bigger I get the importance of having a trademarkable name like that, that you can use for everything. When I find one with you guys, that's so good. Like I can't, I just can't. That's so good.
You know about it as well. I'm probably going to trademark it later tonight. Right. Once I figured out how to do it and it's happening.
Yeah. Right? Yeah. So I would at least just start using that everywhere that you are grab the Instagrams, grab the Facebooks, get all the things that are available under fuel her all one word, get them now. Yes. Start your podcast. That way everything you do is at fuel. Her facebook.com/fuel. Her the podcast is called fuel. Her the website's fuel her. Making sure I don't miss any of the places I need to like it. Grab it ASAP.
Did you say Instagram, a Facebook page with it, a Facebook group that you can call that you can, you know, funnel people from the podcast. So it's like facebook.com/group/fuel. Her you'll want an email address will never be an issue. So you'll always be able to get that. The domain is really the one that's going to be once you're public with this and people are like, Oh, that's an amazing name. That would be the next investment I would make the domain. Okay. Yeah. So the other thing before we run out of time for this is that I want to give you, let me try to say a description for your podcast for you. Am I still there? Okay. And then it will, it's recorded. You won't be able to write this fast, but. Okay, good. I was like, I can type.
Yeah. You'll be able to relisten a couple of times and then this description would be for your podcast and then probably you can use it for your website. This is kind of like the promise to that woman. Okay. And I'll just do my best. And then you make it your own based on what you, how you would speak and how the type of content that you end up putting into your podcast. Okay. Yes. Okay. So, Hey millennial sister, are you struggling with body image? Are you trying to love your body? But totally confused. Based on all the fad diets, all the nutrition information, the endless pages on your Google search. Don't worry. Oh my gosh. And sometimes too, it's just those two brains. Cause I can hear from you all these cool ideas, but then it's like, what's the, like, we need the word or the term or the one little thing that makes it all click. So this feels so right to me. I'm excited for you. Oh my gosh. This is crazy. I feel like walls have just been broken through. I'm so excited. So the next step Ashley for you is, you know, your podcast. You need to get that up and running. Yes. And then I think you can monetize with your MLM for now and then maybe in the next 90 days, as you get to know your fuel, her sisterhood better, we might meet again and talk about a passive idea or a different income stream idea for you. Yes. I agree with that as well.
