This BONUS episode was SO important for me to share ASAP that I recorded it from my phone before I had a full cup of coffee. YOU know that ish doesn't happen often! Haha!
Yesterday I got home from Pays to Be Brave, a 2 day live immersion event for female entrepreneurs and whoa -- so many amazing take-a-ways that I HAD to share with you. I felt SO compelled I grabbed my phone and started recording... BEFORE I had a full of coffee mind you. That ish doesn't happen often!
Why? Because the main core take-a-way I walked away with was opposite of 99% of the women there.
I didn't walk away with "take action"
I didn't walk away with "do more"
I didn't walk away with "try this"
I didn't walk away with "start that"
I didn't walk away with "work harder"
What I walked away with was SILENCE. THE. DANG. NOISE.
That we need to be insanely clear on WHAT our one this is.
Not get distracted with all the new and shiny, but instead, stay true to ONE platform and ONE mission.
To focus on the call that God gave you.... until He gives you the next call.
To show up so fiercely for that ONE message that you can't be ignored.
To give your everything until you rise to the top of that ONE niche.
I am soooo pumped for you to hear today's episode because it's time to get clear. It's time to give up good for GREAT.
Do yourself a favor and don't wait on this one -- I am 100% sure that every one of you need this, today.
Join me on today's bonus episode where I break down my take-a-ways from my recent live event. Silencing the noise, why we need to be careful of transfer of identity and THE. ONE. FREAKING. THING.

FULL EPISODE TRANSCRIPTION:
Hello beauties. It is nine 30 on Tuesday morning. And I'm recording this on my phone while I walk around and drink coffee. So good luck with that. Those of you sound gremlins. You're like, why is this not crystal clear? Well, because I'm on my phone and I'm drinking my morning coffee. So there you go. But I felt so led to create this little bonus episode for you, because I just got back from pace to be brave. The only live event that I did this year, and I went into it, expecting something and I came out and I received something back so different than I think 90% of the women in that room. And I felt so compelled to share it with you that I haven't even finished my first full cup of coffee. So hold on while I take a drink, I also like Woke up this morning, talking out loud like, Oh, and then there was this and her sister. Dang it. I got to get this out of my body and into the world.
So welcome to your bonus episode. That was totally unplanned. Yay. Let's rewind. Why did I want to go to a live event and why this live event it started with obviously is my girl. You know, she was a big piece of me launching my show and we've since become, you know, friends ish online, we've done episodes for each other on the podcast and she is going to be promoting my podcast course. So she's awesome. And I love her energy and she's super fun. And she's goals for me. Right? You always want to follow people that are a couple steps ahead of you in the game. Well, that's Angie for me. So that event number one, secondly, because podcasting has become such an incredible passion of mine that I wanted to do an event that had to do with podcasting, had to do with people and women in that space.
And also I love San Diego. Like, can we get an amen for San Diego please? It's like my, one of my favorite places next to Hawaii. And I think it's because I am an ocean child, like, ah, just give me the ocean and some crispy sand and a sunset and maybe a glass of wine. And then just like, never, never talk to me again. Like I just leave me there and that paradise. Right. And I, Kevin for me is for sure going to have an ocean. I'm like, Hey God, take note. You can go ahead and prepare my ocean right now. Anyway. So I decided to do this event. And secondly, because let's just be really honest. I haven't had a girls trip in a minute, a minute wa one of my favorite things about network marketing was being able to get with my friends, go and just immerse ourselves in fun, relaxation.
I love business. You guys know, like I love business. I'm so excited about learning and growing and furthering my mission. And so to pair that with a girls trip and San Diego triple, yes. Not to mention my best. He said, she'd go with me. So it was like for sure happening. So I decided that we're going and all the cards aligned for us to get there. We get to use her mom's timeshare for an amazing price. She gets a free ticket, like all the things work out. So we're going to go to this event and the girls in the group kept asking, well, what's your intention, right? Like what are you guys going into the event wanting out of it? And I couldn't come up with something I'm like, I don't have an intention. I just want to like be free for a minute. I just want to like, not have any responsibility.
I just am excited to literally have a minute away from my kids away from a responsibility, relax, rest, go to the ocean, breathing and immerse myself in. Maybe what's next, I guess was kind of what I was thinking. So that was my answer. And I really didn't know. And we get into this event. Oh my gosh. Such a great job. It was beautiful. The weather was beautiful. The venue is incredible. There are 1500. So ex women that are just excited and full of energy and confidence and everyone is gorgeous. PS. I'm like, is this this six pack convention? Or like where the mom's at? Hold up, hold up.
I like having my mom jeans on cause so I could like tuck my tummy into it. Not these girls, man. There is something about a good San Diego six pack that made me want to get in shape. Can we just be really honest for a minute? Anyway, I loved it. So incredible. Like the takeaways, the nuggets that were dropped were phenomenal. I got to see some of the gals from my community that I was so excited to see in person. And my client came Aubrey, which was amazing to hug her in real life. Like the people aspect of it was so baller. I loved that. And there were some really great takeaways as well. You know, Shalene Johnson talked about, first of all, I had never seen a Shaleen in person. She is hilarious. You guys, she was like dropping it, like it's hot on the mic guy that had to come and replace her microphone.
And like the room was rolling. Hilarious. Cause she was super funny. One of the big takeaways from that, I'll give you a few of the nuggets and then I'm going to tell you what my biggest takeaway was. That was totally opposite of everyone else. Right? Stick with me for that, because I think it's going to blow your mind and really get you thinking. So the first thing was authenticity wins, right? Like Shaleen grew this huge fitness company, millions and millions of dollars. She's the brand. We've seen her on the beach body videos and all the things she did infomercials and having an infomercial for her that was so like put together and businessy. It didn't sell very well. And then when Chilean was like, so can I try selling it? And she just grabbed her smartphone and recorded a video. Her dogs are in the background being noisy and she's just having fun with it.
She isn't all fancy. She's got her glasses on. That is still one of the number one infomercials today. And why is that? Because she's being herself because people are sick of being sold to because when you have a polished video, it comes up personally, it comes across for me as fake as you're selling me, there were a couple of people that used polished videos to sell their thing. Right. Cause everyone that came up with selling something let's get real. And I was like, Nope, like hard, no, not doing it. However, some of the people that would come up wouldn't have a polished video and they would just use their heart and their words and testimony to sell what they were, what they were doing. And it was like, Oh, I was so much more receptive to that. And I really felt into it and realize that I, I want to know that someone cares about me before they sell to me.
I can smell a pitch coming a mile away. You guys I'm good at selling. I am great at sales. And so if I can smell you coming to sell me something I'm out because I know you're selling me to sell me. You don't care about me. You've never met me. I I've never learned from you. Right. So I took away that. Wow. Like the message that I have been putting into the world of B you don't put on your makeup. If you don't want, let your wingding hair flow free. Oh, Oh my gosh. Do I have a wingding story? Hold, hold tight, hold tight. I'm going to blow your mind, but you're going to laugh so hard. It's going to be really embarrassing. Okay. But first it's like BU or Hey, do you want to wear heels? Wear them. Do you want to put on your eyelashes and live your life in, in eyelashes?
Do that like just be you just share from your heart. If you are getting something that you are not passionate about right now, why is it the wrong thing? Why is it because you're showing up in authentically with a polished video, when you just want to show up with your phone and record it. Like I am right now wearing yesterday's clothes, right? So authenticity will always win. Being genuine to who you are, be willing to get vulnerable, but don't feel like vulnerability is a must. There's also a time and space to share things that you're not ready to share. When I was in the midst of my network marketing company, kind of falling apart in my business crumbling and I was crying every day and I was 60 pounds overweight. That was not the time for me to share that if I would have shared it, it would have actually been in authentic because that would have been me showing up to share something, to get likes, to get engagement. Me, posting a naked selfie
At 60 pounds. Overweight would have been Me trying to get engagement because I wasn't ready For that. So The point of that is like you, vulnerability is important, but when you're ready to be vulnerable, my friend, you know, Stephanie, her, her tag is at self-love with Stephanie she's. My bestie went with me to the event and she was like, if you're sobbing through a, You're not ready to share it. Right.
Hold on. I'm gonna set my coffee down. Am I clink?
Okay. if you're sobbing through a story, you're not ready to share that story. And I really thought about that. I'm like, yeah, because I felt like,
Oh, am I a fraud for not sharing earlier about the network marketing company, crumbling and needing to borrow money for my kids' savings account?
No, I wasn't ready. The story needed To first kind of have an ending for me. So while I'm not afraid to share things I'm in, I really am starting to pay attention to the emotion behind it and asking myself, am I sharing this because I need to speak my truth. Like I am right now, which I'm going to get to in a minute, or am I sharing this? Because I feel like it will help my business grow or I feel like it will help the likes or will it grow the, you know, number of comments on Instagram. So I loved that. Be authentic, be you sell by sharing your heart because you know, you believe in something so fiercely it's a disservice not to talk about It. Okay. Example
Is my podcast course is a disservice for me not to tell you, there are two days left of the promotion where you get a hundred dollars off and a 20 minute coaching session with me. You guys, in 20 minutes, people are telling me that I've taken the jumble idea in their mind that they've had for over a year. And I've handed to them on a silver platter, the entire mission and clarity and intention behind their new brand. They're like, how did you do that? I said, I don't know, God spoke through me. And I was the vessel to give you the words I gave you, the words that you needed to take action. So you get that right now for two days. So I am so insanely passionate about that, but I'm going to say it again. And some of you will hear it and be like, Oh, okay, I'm going to go. I hear you, Stefanie, like podcasting, is it for me too? And some of you were like, Nope, but I don't think that any of you heard that and said, she doesn't believe in that. Stephanie is saying that again to make money. Stefanie saying that again,
Because she just
Wants to make sales. She wants to be fancy. She wants to stand up and say that she has a best-selling course. I don't think any of you felt that way. I think all of you feel that I so fiercely believe in what I'm marketing that. Now you wonder if it's right for you To that to me is being genuine. Okay. And it would be In genuine of me not to talk about the things I love. So that was my very first takeaway. So take that with agreements, all infuse it in your business. And I hope that you really love that. The second takeaway for me is that I didn't resonate with the people that got up and wanted To be High-Level and floaty. Okay. Just do more,
You know, have community. Yay. You can do anything. I'm like, no, no,
But how right? Give them Tangible, tangible, tactical steps to get where you are. The people that came up there, I'm going to use, you know, Alison bird as an example. And do not, let me forget to tell you about the wingding story ladies. Oh, mg. We'll do that as an intermission. Okay. In a minute, Alison bird got up there and like rocked my world because she was fiercely herself. She made no apologies for loving herself. Some God and Jesus, and then breaking it down to some rap music with cuss words. And I'm like, this is my human right now. Like, I can love some rap music and shaking my booty and you know, torquing and Zumba and also read scripture. Can I please get an amen for that? So like, she was so awesome because she didn't feel like, because she stood on the stage, she had to button it up and get fancy and not get sweaty or wear a business suit. Like she was, she had pink and blue hair, like, yes, yes. Like I love that. But what was most important to me is that I was able to internalize what she taught because she taught me something. Number one I hadn't heard before. It also really rubbed me the wrong way. When somebody got up and taught the stuff that they teach every day, I'm like, I already listened to your podcast. I've heard this 47 times.
No, no. If You're going to stand up and do an event, do something special, do a mastermind, have a course, teach me something new, give me implementation. So Alison stood up there and she had a slide with all of these incredible ideas behind how you create an affirmation, how you have to affirm the affirmation and then take action on the affirmation. She gave examples, tangible examples for every slide. And it was great. It was like, Oh, I'm walking away with meat,
Right? Like she Didn't just say, this is my restaurant. Come in and feel the vibes. She said, this is my restaurant. This is what I believe goes into the meals that I cook. This is why I believe that these are the ingredients that I should cook with. These are the meals that I serve. This is how much they cost. And this is how, when you eat that meal, you will fill afterwards. I was like, Holy smokes. This blew my brain. And I'm so obsessed with that idea. So for me and for you, I hope, think about how you can take all the feels of what you do and create something tactical and tangible. When you teach people will walk away and not forget you. If they can say that you gave them something, they can do an implement into their life right away.
Yay. Okay. Now the next takeaway for me was really that there's too much noise.
Okay. There is too much noise. I walk into this event and we're, we're hearing treat your business like a baby. Don't treat your business like a baby. Treat your business like a business. Do breath work, get in touch with your feelings, right? Don't F don't feel too long. You got to dive into your business. You got to act. You have to do wait, wait, you should probably have live events because everybody has live events and you should be a public speaker now. Oh no, no. Do a podcast. Cause that's what's up like podcasting is exploding. It's amazing. Oh wait. Don't do podcasting. Cause now it's exploding. You should go back to Facebook live. Cause that's what's cool. Like, wait, hold on. You should sell this way. You should sell all online and have an arsenal of online courses. Oh no, definitely not have one signature course and sell it with a paper envelope.
Every person had their thing and they all believed so fiercely in their thing. That that was great. But the problem was as a consumer of that information, I was so freaking overwhelmed ladies. And like, I know who I am. I know who I am. I know what I'm doing. And so I looked around me and I saw all of these women thinking that they were having a breakthrough. And yet I know for a fact they will leave that room more confused than ever with what to do because now there's too much noise. What's right. For me, what I thought I was doing is no longer the best thing because Nancy is doing something else and it's working better for her. Even me, you guys to put this into a tangible tactical example for you. I'm podcasting. It's my thing. Obsessing. I'm talking to you from my phone, walking around this living room in yesterday's clothes with crazy wingding hair drinking a cup of coffee every now and again, I don't have makeup on, I don't feel pressured to show up on video.
Okay. I'm just talking to you with my heart and my soul and I'm obsessed with it. And I understand that that's not for everyone, but that is for me. Okay. However, when I got in that room and watch the speakers, I thought, Oh, I could be up there. You could talk about what she's talking about. I could teach this topic. And all of a sudden there was this transfer transfer of identity for, to me. Am I a podcaster? Or should I be a public speaker too? Hmm. Right. And all of a sudden, there's this new noise in my head. Then I start getting some strange, strange interference in the radio. Steph, you should do that. Hey Steph, you should do that. Right. There's ladies from my community that were there and they'd come and find me and hug me and say, number one, you're so short. Just hilarious. I'm like, am I now I'm five, three on a good day. And then the second thing they would say is you should be up there speaking. I then my mom's like, Hey, why'd you, you know, what are you hoping to get out of the event? Like, I don't know. And she said, it's cause you're going to have events like that one day. And I said, am I right? And then I started to think, okay, maybe I am.
And then I realized, do I really want that? Is that really for me? Do I really want to prepare for a speech? Travel to the speech? Have the slides have the thing? Do the makeup wear the clothes. Let's get real. I am not wearing this. My extra oversized comfy. And my weekend didn't care on the stage because I wouldn't feel comfortable. Am I going to put my kids aside so that I can go for a week and speak somewhere? And I've been a speaker guys. I was in network marketing for five years. I've had, I had events every week where I did public speaking. And then I realized that's not for me today. That's not for me right now in this season of my life where my kids are number one next to God and my husband. So number three where I'm enjoying, just being for once in my life.
Speaking is not for me right now, but the noise got in my head. And if I wasn't careful to discern where that noise was coming from and it was actually a transfer of identity and it wasn't from me and it wasn't from God. I could have acted on that. Oh, now I'm gonna speak. Let me create a speakers page. Let me create a video. I can't podcast as much. You guys cause I'm working on speaking. Start over getting the free speaking gigs so that I can get the, you know, the portfolio of speaking together, charge a hundred bucks for my first one, because I don't have that much experience. And then I started traveling and then a year from now, I go, Oh, Oh snap, this wasn't for me. This wasn't for me. God. Didn't ask me to do that. Okay. So my point with this is that number one.
I'm not saying I'll never speak. Okay. So that could be in the cards. I don't know. But what I am saying is that someone else believes in something so fiercely that you're going to question it for you. Okay? I believe so. So fiercely and podcasting. You wonder if it's for you, but is it for you? Okay. There is noise coming from everywhere. Social media is telling you to do social media. I believe in podcasting. Someone else believes in video marketing. Someone else believes in live speaking. Someone else believes in events. What do you want? Cut out the dang noise sister, stop the madness. It's not do all the things. It's not do what she's doing. It's not do what looks cool. It's because it all takes work. Podcasting is a hell of a lot of work, right? Public speaking is so intensely draining emotionally, physically time consuming, but it looks glamorous gorgeously branded photos on Instagram.
Have you ever been in an all day photo shoot? You are sweaty, like a mule running up and down a hot dang street with everybody and their dog. Looking at you. Wondering why you're making that fake smile, holding mass random coffee cup. Okay. Lugging around clothes. Like it's exhausting. All of the pretty shiny things in this world take work. So my message to you and to me, okay, is that we have to cut out the noise. We have to disallow the transfer of identity. We have to get back to who we are in our hearts, souls and say, who am I? What is my thing? And this is another takeaway from the event. What's the thing, the thing for you, not for everyone else. What is it for you? What's your thing. Your one thing you will never be great at one thing, if you're doing seven things.
Well, I was never great at this business. When I was doing Instagram, YouTube, Facebook lives, in-person events, networking, calling people on the phone network, marketing, coaching 17 courses. Okay. I was never good at it. I was okay at it all because I can do a lot of things. Cause I'm an achiever because I'm a cause I'm self motivated. I was never great until I said, I'm done doing everything so that I can do the thing. The one thing, the one platform, which for me is podcasting because that's what I want to do. And I make no apologies for it. And I'm not doing video with it. Okay. It's podcasting. It's audio. That's my platform. So I could have chosen to go on Instagram TV, who everyone said I'm dumb for not using at the event this weekend, right? Noise. You have to use Instagram TV.
If you want to show, if you want to shine on Instagram. Well, number one, Instagram is not what what's up. Let me burst your Instagram bubble for a minute. Instagram. We don't own it. Instagram owns you. It owns the algorithm. It owns. Who sees you. Engagement is down. It's it's guys. It's not what's up. It's a touch. It's a fun place to hang out. Okay? It's not where your business should be grown. I could have gone Instagram who, every speaker, almost everyone was like, go on Instagram. You got to do lives and Instagram TV and share this message with you because that's what they said to do. But it's noise. Why is it noise? It's not my thing. It's not it. My thing is this podcast. If I have to share my heart and soul, you know where to find me it's here on this show.
Now I will take from this episode and repurpose it. I'll take this audio file and put it on YouTube without a video, mind you, I will absolutely have it transcribed and take some of the verbiage and put it into the blog post that goes with this episode, I will for sure, title it something juicy and spicy and use it in the SEO tags. Believe me, cause I I'm not dumb. Okay? I understand business and marketing and the importance of showing up everywhere. But I'm showing up everywhere because I have one place that it all starts. And I repurpose that information. And it's here on the show. One platform one. And until this platform, until this specific show, either explodes past a million downloads or God tells me to diversify. This is where you'll find me. So I challenge you to stand up again. What you're hearing from everyone that you follow.
Turn off that noise. Step away from social media for a minute. Do a fast pray journal. Get clear if you can't tell me what your one platform is today, you're going to be sorry later. I've been there. That's the platform now, secondly, what's the thing you're doing on the platform. This is another takeaway I got from this. Okay? People that sit up on that stage, y'all nobody up there, said nobody up there said I am. Number one in network marketer. Number two, I run a blog. Number three. I'm a lifestyle, a sponsor on Instagram. Number four. I'm a, you know, a coach for brick and mortar businesses. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, definitely not every person that's had massive success in their mission then has one core focus. Now this gets so confusing. So I hope that I can shed some light on this for you.
It's that one core idea. Okay. It's one tangible again. I'm gonna say tangible. Not floaty idea. Not I help women lose weight. No too floaty, right? Or, or I help people with confidence to floaty. It's one very specific sentence. And then when you branch out from that, you find ways to serve that sentence. So let me give you an example. Okay. I used to say, I used to say, I help online entrepreneurs. Why, what kind of online entrepreneurs, who are they help? How do you help them do that? Right? Oh, I just missed it and inspire, motivate them to do what? Motivate them. How inspire them. What Vague, boring, done. Nobody's
In that. Okay. So now, now, and it took me so long to get here. You guys. So with grace Kay, with grace, with patience and grace for yourself,
Now it is I help Christian mompreneurs uncover their God led calling and then create a business out of that. Calling using podcasting and online courses. That is what I do. That's the one. Yeah. Thing. One thing. One, one, one, okay. One thing
Who Christian mompreneurs. Why? Because I want to talk about my faith and I want to inspire you to step into your faith at a deeper level. I want you to understand that business and marketing and money and abundance and favor and health and happiness and wealth and being the best mom. You can be in the best spouse or, or partner that you can be comes from the savior. It comes from God. It comes from your Lord. Nowhere else, not from self, not from people on stage, not from that podcast. You heard from God. And I want to talk about that. Number two, because you're a mom, most of you, or you want to be a mother or you're a grandmother or you deal with children in some way. Because I, I feel fiercely that our children are our future. And along with being obsessed with business and marketing, I'm obsessed with you transferring that to your kids in the right way. So I want to talk to the Christian mompreneurs
About what your soul call, what are you created for? Why are you here? Why did God gift you this life on earth? What's the mission he gave you. What's the tug at your heart. What's the dream in your mind? What is it? And I want to help you take the noise in your own head. The, Oh, I don't know what I do stuff. I don't know what it's for. I don't understand it. Have you tell it to me so that I can literally give back to you in two sentences? What the heck you do? Cause I know that's hard. I know that's confusing, but it's right there for you. You just can't get out of the way to see it. And then third, I want to show you if podcasting is your thing. First of all, if the word is F because it is not for everyone, I believe it is for many of you because you're in the online space talking to women and we are listening, right? We are not watching videos. We are not doing live events. We are listening to stuff while we are with our families. So I believe for 85% of you listening right now, it is audio.
I'm going to go ahead and be bold. So if it's audio, I want to teach you now how to take that soul call and start a podcast. So you can start spreading your message and mission into the world in an impactful way where it's free. You're serving, you're helping, you're mentoring, you're teaching and training for free creating trust in your creating a platform for you to stand up and stand out and start to speak up. And then third, I'm going to teach you how to make money from it. Using an online course. Why an online course, because it's passive. I don't want you to have to feel like you're forced to create a live event. That's going to take months and months and months out of your life and hundreds of thousands of dollars. And you're gonna be exhausted. And for some of you, that's for you, most of you, it's not, but you got, you got shiny object syndrome.
When you saw somebody stand on that stage and look glamorous. How many of you, when you were 16, that I want to be a model that looks glamorous. I know I did. So my point there is that I've chosen to be so intensely specific with what I'm teaching you, who I'm teaching and why that if it doesn't fit that one sentence or those three things for me, the sole call podcasting and online courses or the Christian mompreneur it's out, it's out. And it was never more clear than this weekend at that event, which is so crazy because all I heard do more, do more diversify, do this, do that, do it this way, your way's wrong or this way is right. And you know what I heard, I heard heck freaking. Now I heard actually, no, actually hard. No for me not into it. I love so much about this event, but this is my core takeaway.
Don't do more. Don't get distracted. Silence, the noise. It's just noise. It's only shiny object syndrome. It's identity transference to someone else, dream. Don't get distracted. One thing, one platform, you must start there, period. Once you've gotten that one thing really self-sustaining then you can say, huh, what's next. But if start with what's next before one thing ever works for you. Now you have 20 things and nothing's working for you. Do you feel me? Not if you feel yes, yes, yes, yes. If I ever speak, this is my flipping speech. You guys, I can't, I can't like I'm into it. I'm going to be going up there. And like, everyone's like make her sit down and she's ruining all of our sales.
So that's my message. I hope you love that. And number two, here's a hilarious story. Before I get off of this phone, this phone episode. Okay. Y'all know, your girl has some crazy winging hair, right? So the second day of the conference, I take my shower and put my hair in a bun and I'm like, Oh yeah, it's an up in the bond. We're ready to rock. And then realized there's so much humidity. This is not going to be a good situation for my Wingdings. I'm looking everywhere. I didn't pack any gel. I didn't pack any hairspray. My roommate doesn't have anything with her. I'm like, okay, I'll just use lotion. So I got some face lotion and put it in my hair. Nope. The Wingdings are like, Oh, Hey girl, we're still here. I'm like, Oh, okay. Okay. What are we gonna do? What are we gonna do?
Didn't have time. We're running out of time. I wanted great stuff. And so I'm looking in my bag and I see, Oh my kid's toothpaste. It's clear. This is going to be, this is going to work. This is totally going to work. And I was never going to share this cause it's ridiculous, which is why I'm sharing it. So I get some of the clear toothpaste. I can't make this up. And I put it in my hair to keep the little wings everything's flat. You guys. I mean, I knew we're going to go home. I'll take a quick shower. It'll be of note. No one will ever know, go to the event. My hair was great. Stayed in place all day. I'm like, Oh, toothpaste is the new gel. This is what's up. And so we ended up going out to do dinner. My roommate, my bestie and I, and Oh, we have such good breakthroughs and we're jamming.
And we, we had like a four-course dinner and like really made an experience out of it. Well, it was like 10 30. When we got back to the room, I was so tired. I'm like, I'm just going to sleep. I'm just going to sleep in. Forgot about the gel in my, well, the toothpaste in my hair. So we go to bed and we wake up in the morning and I'm like, Oh, I'm just gonna get home. Right? Like I'll shower. When I get home, didn't even look at myself in the mirror. I was wearing PJ's com fees for the plane. It was fine. Didn't need to look at my hair. Who cares? We get to the airport. We go through check-in. I talked to the person that takes my bag, give my, my license to the dude at the security, talking to random strangers that we sit.
We're sitting next to have breakfast, have breakfast all the while. Not knowing that the toothpaste in my hair from the day before, you know how it gets white and crusty when you sleep on it, or like gel sometimes will like the toothpaste have become pure white too street where my Wingdings are in my hair. And it looked like I had some crazy dandruff. I'm like, first of all, y'all friend. Hello? Hello friend. Why did you do not tell me? I have some white crust, some about Mary style in my, and she's like, I didn't even see it. I didn't even notice. Oh my God. Real question is as she lied to me and wanted to just embarrass me or for me to have a funny story later, but anyway, no one said anything to me. I went hours like this. You guys so funny. So I went to the bathroom, like washed out toothpaste in my hair.
Oh man. Oh man. So yeah, that's my hilarious takeaway. My hot mess moment of the weekend. Hope you laughed at that and could envision that happening for me. Cause it was real. But I really just pray over you now that if you're confused on what the heck to do, what's the message. What's the thing. What's the platform. Praise sister. God wants to give you clarity. You have to turn off your own internal dialogue to hear it. Okay. Be still sit, pray a minute. Meditate, go outside, go for a walk, take a hot shower, ask God for clarity journal. Let him speak through you and give you direction. And then when you receive that divine direction, I pray that you don't get distracted from it so many times this year I've wanted to be distracted, but God said, Stephanie stopped. Be still, wait. Don't get away from the call that I gave you.
One call one thing, one platform. I pray over you that you have courage to say no to the things that aren't serving you. But most importantly, I pray. You have courage to say yes to the one thing. Pray that you have courage to step up fiercely and be great exceptional transcendent at one thing, sister, friend, pray that God gives you the words to speak your message. I pray that he gives you the tools to create the thing. I pray that you receive the friendships and the mentors and the courses of the programs or the books or the podcast, or even the silence to move forward on the one thing so that you can stand up and stand out. I pray for it all for you. You can have it all, but not if you're doing it all that sits well with you. I love you so much sending you the biggest hug ever. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for being who you are. Thank you for being on this journey with me. And I will see you so soon as always, love and light, Stef.
